The lure of automated income streams is very powerful. You’ve seen the headlines:

These were all from real promotions I’ve seen over the years. The last headline is especially interesting. You don’t even have to do anything like push a button or something! Just ‘get’ the software (aka BUY), go to sleep and wake up rich – SWEET!

There are a lot of products being sold online that promise ‘automated income’ and/or ‘automated software’ whose ultimate benefit is automated income. You may have purchased a few of them and been disappointed with the results but there’s REAL hope, finally, so keep reading.

After years of testing, trial and error, research and buying $10,000+ of products and coaching programs I’ve come to the following conclusions:

1. There is no push button solution/software for creating automated income online (and never will be) – but you can get close
2. Automated income can be a reality if you grasp one important concept that 99% of all marketers miss
3. There are only two legitimate business models that work when it comes to creating automated income streams

You can save yourself a ton of money right now by reading this report. You won’t have to buy anymore products that promise automated income online because I’m going to reveal to you the steps you need to take to create your own automated income projects online right now.

Let’s start with the the first conclusion:

Why? Why can’t there be a true, push button traffic, automated sales and marketing solution?

The answer is that there are just too many variables that require human interaction and judgment. Think about it.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of variables in the setting up of an automated income system:

Product creation/selection (create, affiliate, JV, etc…)
Income strategy (AdSense, CB, CPA, etc…)
Traffic source selection and strategy (SEO, PPC, banner, text ads, articles, backlinks, etc…)
Payment processing options (PayPal, 2CO, Merchant Account, etc..)
Content delivery solutions (DIY, eJunkie, 1ShoppingCart, etc…)

Each step requires a judgment to be made. A software program can setup some aspects of these systems but only after the decision has been made as to which direction to go in.

That’s why there will never be a true, one-button automated income solution. It can’t exist and probably never will. However, there are software solutions that work together that may help automate parts of a solution.

The goal I set for myself was to automate my income as much as possible without it costing me a ton of money for all these different ‘solutions’.

You know what I mean?

You finally figure out that you need a solution for setting up your products and payment processing – $97 per month, then you need that SEO Keyword service that sets you back another $47 per month, then you need the all-in-one video/article/whatever submission software that sets you back another $77 per month, then there’s autoresponder services that sets you back another $50 per month… etc… whoa!

Pretty soon you’re spending $200-$400 per month on all these ‘automated’ software solutions and you haven’t even made a dime yet yet alone learn how to use them!

But I’ve found a way that is really close to being completely automated… it’s not 100% but it’s really close.

While all of the back office stuff and even the profits are automated for you, there are one or two things you need to do either by you or someone you outsource it to. And it’s the fun part of this business.

Let’s talk about the second conclusion:

That important concept can be summed up this way:

Keep It Simple and Keep It Real!

I’m not kidding… almost every marketer I’ve talked to has some really complicated plan for making automated income online. SEO ARB, CASH MATRIX, NUK STORM, BLASTER SILO etc…

Gheesh you’d have to be a nuclear scientist to understand what they are talking about! And I guarantee you that none, or very few, of them produce any profits at all.

The truth is, the best systems for creating an almost automated online income are essentially simple.

But human nature, being what it is, loves to think that if it is any good it has to be complicated and they have completely ignored the reality:

It’s real, live human beings who buy your products. An automated system that does not take into account that PEOPLE, real live human beings, are at the other end of your automated system will fail.

So while you can trick people and get them to click on your links once in a while you cannot build automated systems the way the gurus and hucksters teach it.

If you’re going to build an automated income system that works consistently, reliably and profitably you need to make it more ‘human’ and real for people.

Let’s talk about the third conclusion:

Yes, there are only 2.

There are hundreds if not thousands of business models for making money online but remember we want one that is as close to automated as possible.

So doing any kind of consulting, website design, product creation, membership sites, ebay and amazon selling, etc… are all out of the picture.

While they make money, most require a lot of interaction with customers so our goal of automating our income is not a reality.

The first model is what I call the AD Model.

You essentially create a website with content and make money from advertising space on the website.

The easiest way to place ads on your website that create income for you is through the Google AdSense advertising platform.

You sign up and Google gives you a code that you copy and paste on your website that generates income when someone clicks on the links on your site.

But you could also place CPA offers on your site as well as other ad network ads but AdSense is the easiest to get started with and from the models I’ve looked at is the most consistent in terms of reliability and income.

And while the basic idea is relatively simple, the execution can be mind-numbing.

It involves getting into the top 3 search results for your targeted keywords in Google and that is not quick or easy. But once you get there you’re essentially guaranteed that spot – for a while at least.

Why do you have to get into the top 3 natural search engine result spots?

Those are the one’s that get traffic. They will get about 80% of all the traffic based on the keywords you’ve targeted. So if you’re not in those spots you’re not going to get much traffic, if at all. If you can’t get traffic, then there’s no one to click on your ads, and you make no money.

And all those hucksters who suggest you send tons of traffic to your Adsense sites with PPC traffic or cheap popup traffic- it’s against Google’s terms of service and they will shut your Adsense account down for it.

So while the AD Model is a legitimate source of automated income, it’s far from easy and far from reliable. You are at the mercy of The Great Google and you know how they love to make the lives of small Internet marketers miserable.

The second legitimate way of creating a consistent and reliable automated income system is what I call the DM Model.

DM stands for Direct Marketing. The direct marketing model has proven to work for over 100 years offline, but very few people are using it effectively online BUT the one’s that are making it work are making millions – and some of them are doing it using very simple systems and automating it.

This Model has several real-world money making advantages:

#1 Once you have your front end (landing page) setup the system works automatically to generate income -yes, automatically
#2 The only thing you have to do is create simple ads to drive traffic to the landing page
#3 Because you are buying traffic, you can scale this model up to make millions

The reason why 99% of all online marketers fail to create automated online systems is because they don’t do enough to understand their target market.

Or they figure they can make money by throwing everything (aka a ton of affiliate offers) at a prospect hoping that one thing will stick and they make a sale.

That is such a waste of time and money and causes the kind of frustration that makes people give up on making any money on the Internet!

Now, get closer to your computer and read this very carefully:

If you’re going to be successful creating near perfect auto-pilot income, every aspect of your system has to GET INSIDE THE MIND of your visitor/prospect and target what they fear the most or desire the most and then, when they are at the point of least resistance to your sales message, makes them an offer they cannot refuse.
